water balloons and twister

We love having fun around here! The other night we put about 50 water balloons on the trampoline and all jumped. It was so much fun! After we wore ourselves out doing that, we came in for a twister tournament!! The kids were so funny stretched out and then mangled in crazy attempts to reach the dots! We laughed soooo hard!! They are so much fun! As I am typing this Jesse Ava is in my lap grabbing my hands and trying to put them in her mouth. Little stinker!

There is also a picture of Joelle... she is trouble!! She got caught eating dirt, but she is still so cute!

full fun week

This week blew by. We had a fun week! Aaron came back to wrap up his CD recording, so I cooked a lot!! Friday, we all went to the Astros game. We had great seats! They do fireworks every Friday, and the kiddos were spoiled with baseball game goodies. They all miss going to Ranger games with all their cousins and Uncle Alan, so they were on cloud 9. Saturday, I went to the spa while Jeremiah and Aaron watched the kids. Then Saturday night we had several friends over for Frito chili pie and baked potatoes...and of course blackberry pie!! We had a really good time! After we ate we all {13 of us} went for a long walk. Today, Aaron played drums with Jeremiah at our church and then sang one of his songs. It was awesome to see those two play together again. We were so excited to see Butch and Elizabeth there!! Anyway, now We have to catch up on laundry because we were so busy all week. That means probably 12 loads!!! Ugh. Leftovers are on the menu tonight, and a lazy night with Big Brother...

fun fun...

We had a really fun day! Jeremiah worked from home today. The kids made a tent in the dinning room out of sheets, clothes pins, and chairs. I put my laptop in the tent and they watched Bolt and Jungle Book. They loved it! I didn't hear a peep out of them for a while! Jeremiah and I made a HUGE omelet for dinner... kind of a "leftovers" omelet... it was yummy!! We were at the table eating dinner and we heard the ice cream truck. The ice cream man was so nice and his truck was very clean! {I have always just seen nasty ones} Jaela, Jonah, and Joelle loved picking out a treat. Jonah was so very excited to see teenage mutant ninja turtles! Over all it was a great day! I think I could get used to having my Hubby home more often!

a good idea...

We have had Aaron here this week. He is so good with the kids. They love having a new person to play with. Jesse Ava has taken to him... he has put her to sleep every night! I know why people hire nannies for their kids!!! Sounds like a good idea to me.

Joelle is getting into that "terrible two's" stuff. She is a smart little stinker. She is also all about helping take care of Jesse Ava. Jaela picked Jesse Ava up {without me knowing - I was cleaning the kitchen and Jess was sleeping} and put her on the couch. This is a big no no because Jesse scoots a lot. Joelle saw this as her opportunity to help... she picked Jesse Ava up, and I couldn't get to her quick enough. Jesse hit the floor. She cried of course, but was just fine. Jaela and Joelle got in big trouble and were both so broken hearted because they were just trying to help. I didn't even need to get on to Jaela! She cried every time Jesse did, and burst into tears because Jesse didn't smile at her. She kept telling me " Jesse Ava hates me now. I made her get hurt." I wish I could clone myself and have one mommy for each kid. Things like that can make you feel like a horrible mom, but it is just a part of life.

coconut!

Wow, it's been a long time since my last post! We have been so very busy. Our church had family VBS from Sunday to Wednesday, so those days were crazy. Jeremiah got back into his fun children's pastor days with crazy songs, funny voices, and gross noises.... Our kids had a lot of fun.

Jesse Ava's newest thing is scooting across the living room. Not on purpose, and I wish you all could see her face when she scoots away from her toys. She gets very confused! Jonah's collarbone is still healing. Joelle has been putting sentences together, and Jaela is ready to start 1st grade! Jaela has been very interested in new kinds of fruit...this morning we tried coconut. I remember trying coconut with my Dad when I was a little girl. We cracked it open and it was NOT what they expected! Needless to say, they didn't like it at all.
The rest of this week will be fun. We have our friend Aaron staying here while he records an album of his worship music at Jeremiah's work. The kids love having him here. He even put Jesse Ava to sleep last night! On another note, please pray for our friend Alan Moore. He had a heat stroke yesterday, and looks to be paralyzed on his left side. Our God is a healer.

glad that is over.

We sat out on the deck to have Popsicles after dinner. I think our kids eat 10 a day! Oh well, little do they know that they are sugar free. In one of the pictures, Jaela, Jonah and Joelle were playing outside. Jesse was sitting in her bumbo seat {it is BUMBO not BIMBO- Tonya!!} watching them play. She was so cute smiling at them when they knocked on the window. Bed time is calling and 2 of the 4 kids in the Mohr house are crying.... my job never ends :o)

happy healing party

Kinda silly I know...

When Jeremiah and I were dating, I had an appointment with my oncologist for a major cancer scan. The night before my scan Jeremiah showed up at my apartment with a cake, party hats, streamers...the whole 9 yards. The cake said "Happy Healing!" He sang "Happy Healing to You" and helped me blow out the candles. He wanted to celebrate good results before I even had the tests!! It meant the world to me. Well, tomorrow I have a major cancer scan. Tonight he came home with cupcakes, streamers, and candles...and we had a "Happy Healing Party!!" We will expect good results and have some fun! I love my family!

fun sunday!

What a great day! Church, cleaning, baking, cooking out and water... what more could a family ask for?! The kids had a blast in he sprinkler, while Jeremiah and I got a lot done. We made sure today had some family fun in it, because this week will be busy and stressful. I am off to MD Anderson on Thursday. They started my 5 year cancer scan and I have quite a bit left before I am finished. I will start by seeing the gastro oncologist. Lots of fun....

For anyone who knows my kids... this is for sure one of my kids!! Sucking away on her fingers just like her brother and sister :o)

4th of July fun.

What a great day! Jeremiah slept late and we took him breakfast in bed. We did some yard work and then the fun started...

Our master planned community had a big 4th of July get together. BBQ, live music (although very strange music) and a big fireworks show! We sat out in the grass and had a perfect seat! Jeremiah and the kids were laying down and the fireworks exploded right over them. They loved it! This is the kind of stuff that makes us love New Territory. I am so blessed to have my kids grow up in such a nice, family oriented community.

Happy Birthday to me!!

Yesterday, all 4 kids and I made a 4 hour trip (one way) to see Grandma Henderson in Athens Texas. She was scooping ice cream and fell, breaking her hip! The trip was a lot of fun. We got to see Pop Pop, Grams, uncle Cody, aunt Michelle, Madilynn, Grandpa Henderson, and great uncle Alan. Uncle Alan gave us a bunch of blueberries and blackberries from his garden. They are sooooo good! I made a blackberry pie with the kids this morning! The kids also had frozen blueberries with their breakfast. Thank you so much uncle Alan!!

For my birthday, my sweet Hubby gave me a new Dell laptop. It's pink! Thanks so much for all the Birthday wishes!!
