School!

And so it begins! Our schedule has gotten back to greatness. Jaela likes school so far. She has such a heart for those around her. That makes me so proud. Here's a picture from the 1st and 2nd days of the first grade...

I also threw in some pictures of the kids at the water park and Joelle trying to ride Daisy. Hope everyone has a good day!

last day of summer!

This was the last Friday of our summer! We thought we would have a little fun. We had ice cream for lunch, played on the play ground, went to Double Dave's Pizza, played video games, had 2 huge cinnamon pizzas, made a giant tent, and had a sleep over! I would say that was some FUN!! We also met Jaela's teacher. Mrs. Barnes is her name, and homework is her game!! She is known for giving a ton of homework. Jaela was excited to see one of her "besties" in her class. Sarah is a sweet girl, and so is her mom. Brayden- "the boyfriend" is also in her class... Jaela was a little sad that her other "bestie" Megan wasn't in her class. Oh well, that's how the cookie crumbles! I am so ready to get back in our groove and schedule! Sleeping late will be a thing of the past though....booooo. By late, I mean 7am. Here comes the school year rush!!

forgot a few pictures...

Jonah picking Sam Houston's

nose...and eating with chop sticks...

fun weekend!

Well, the week was tough! Stress has been in the Mohr house for one reason or another, but we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel... The grand finally was Jeremiah wrecking the car on Thursday, only to find out that it will cost a over $1,000 to fix it!! Blah! I guess it could be worse. We wanted to have a fun weekend, so we took a little road trip to the Sam Houston statue. We had a blast! Our trip included a stop at Sam Moon's and of course Genghis Grill. Jonah likes big Sam, and thought it was too funny to pick Sam's nose! Joelle kept pointing up and screaming "WOW!" They all had fun eating with chop sticks and spending time just being kids! Lots of fun!!

let's give it a try.

This week has started off rough!! The bad part is, it is just Tuesday! Monday was horrible. Jonah is in a very tough "season" lol. I will win. I also started potty training Joelle...I will win with that too! Our day was so bad that we had a picnic and movie in the living room floor for dinner just to have a good ending. Jaela finishes up swimming lessons this week. She has lessons 3 days in a row. She loves it, and can swim on her own now. I will miss spending time with Nancy. (my sweet friend that I told you about before) Today, has been much better. Joelle is doing pretty good with potty training. Why is it that it is so tough on us parents?! She is really growing up. This afternoon, Jaela and I were in the garage sorting garage sale stuff and we found a tiny frog. It was very cute. We went inside to get something to catch it in....and it was gone. We searched for it in the flower beds, but it got away. I decided to pull weeds while I was out there, and also cut down a few limbs that were hanging down. Well, critters is the word of the day. I found a huge ant pile (all up my leg) and a small garden snake. Whoo hoo. I went to get the shovel to kill the snake, and it got away too!! Needless to say, I am no Jack Hanna... I tried. I am not afraid of snakes, but I would like to know where it went. Oh well.

Tonight I am going to dinner with a girl friend, and coming home to watch my DVR of Big Brother...

The pictures are of JoJo on the potty. - Jae, Jonah, JoJo, and Jesse Ava before church.- and our picnic...

the week in a nutshell.

My week was full of messes and fun. This includes Jonah and Joelle getting into the craft closet. Joelle had glue all in her hair. It was so hard to wash it out! Jonah, on the other hand.... I guess boys will be boys... He put glue all in his underwear... ?? Oh my. We spent a lot of time at the park and went to Chick-fil-a several times. {can you tell they were energetic and driving me crazy?!} All of our back to school shopping is finished, and school starts in 16 days. We plan on having a fun filled family weekend next weekend. We are looking into a farm not to far from here, where you can pick your own fruit. I love the school year because we get back to our schedule! We will meet Jaela's first grade teacher next week. I really hope that the 3 musketeers are in the same class again! Let the whirlwind begin!

I also put in a picture of my new hair cut... :o) Have a good week!
