smiles!!

Even when you have a rough day, (with 4 kids 6 and under, there are a few of those...) seeing your baby smile just brings joy!! Jesse Ava is such an easy baby. She sleeps 7 hours a night now and tried cereal today for the first time. She laughs very loud as she inhales a squawk and smiles all the time!!

movie night

The kids are all snuggled up in the big chair...princess is getting some love.

Princess Protection Program is the movie of choice. (well, Jaela's choice)

Jonah says "as a matter of fact- this is a girl movie", but he will get to pick next time!!

more love...

4 years ago today, I was saying "I do" to my love. Three kids in 4 years is CRAZY, but we have the best family! I have never been this happy! It is insane to think about everything we go through to get to where we belong. We are at a point in our lives that is so peaceful and right. We have our church, where Jeremiah leads worship. We have built our family foundation. We also are at a turning point with our kids. They are growing up, and there will be NO MORE KIDDOS!! Our Family is complete! We are so excited for the adventures that are ahead! I am so thankful for my hubby, and couldn't live without him!

happy boy!

Keeping a 3 year old boy still and calm so that a collarbone can heal has been tough! Jonah still wants to jump on the trampoline, swing on the tire swing, and jump from the bottom stairs. There have been a ton of books read and movies watched, but he still sneaks away to climb on something! Pop Pop and Grams sent him a get better package. He was sooooo excited to #1- get mail, and #2- read a letter from his Pop Pop! Coloring book, stickers, and little toys hit the spot! Thank you Pop Pop and Grams! (that helps me keep him occupied for a little bit!)

summer time

Our kids have been living in their swimming suits! It has been over 100 degrees here for 33 days straight!! Gotta love Houston... Jaela is so bored. She is used to school all day, and home work when she gets home. She has been reading and doing some "school work" that she brought home on the last day of school. I am loving the slowness of my mornings!! I don't have to drag her out of bed, coax her to eat breakfast, pack a lunch, sign papers.....and so on. We are loving summer!

growing like a weed!

Our little Jesse Ava is growing like a weed! We took her to the beach for her first time this past weekend. I think the other kids enjoyed it a little more than she did, but she sure looked cute in her little swimming suit!! Jaela loves the waves, Jonah loves looking for shells and treasure, and Joelle loves eating sand. Blah! I think we will stick to the pool and sprinkler park. Jaela starts swimming lessons in July, at the pool right by our house. Maybe then it will be easier to take them all swimming!! For now they have a blast with the sprinkler under the trampoline.

We have started looking at houses in Galveston. Because of hurricane Ike, houses are renting and selling for next to nothing. Home owners insurance is sky high, so we may just rent for another year or two... Who knows what the future holds....

girls just wanna have fun!!

Well, My Dad would probably say...like mother like daughter...

Joelle loves playing with Jeremiah's iphone!

That, and dressing up in other people's clothes seem to entertain her the best. We have started the potty training journey. Wish me luck! She absolutely loves her dora panties, but doen NOT want to take them off!! If that means wet panties....oh well!

It is so hard to believe that she is almost 2! She plays the little sister role so well. Blaming everything on "Bubba."

crazy mohr house!

Hey all! Our families want to keep up with us....well good luck!! With 4 kids, we are non-stop!

This week started out in a spiral downward. Jonah fell off his bed and broke his collarbone! It is so tough to get a 3 year old boy to be still, and keep a sling on. Yesterday he watched movies all day, thanks to our great neighbor "Mr. Scott." He brought over several kids movies that we had never seen. Jonah set up camp in Mommy and Daddy's bed, and Jaela began the role of nurse/helper. They are so sweet! Jaela brought him snacks and juice... He can't walk up or down the stairs without hurting, so I feel like an elevator. I have a whole new respect for parents who have a child that depends on them for every physical thing! God bless them!
