Grass Head Guys
It’s like the Chia Pet for kids! Each child can grow his or her own Grass Head Guy by checking daily on its water and sun requirements. Hair getting too long? Give them a trim or a crazy hairstyle! This is a great craft that will keep them interested for months to come!

- Nylon stocking foot
- 1 cup potting soil

- Permanent marker
- Double-sided tape
- Card stock, craft foam, and so on, for clothing
How To Make It:
- Spoon the grass seed into the stocking foot, and the potting soil on top of the seed.
- Tie a knot in the stocking, leaving the excess fabric hanging.
- Fill a yogurt container halfway with water and place the stocking head on top with the nylon tail in the water to serve as a wick.
- Attach googly eyes to the head and draw on a mouth with permanent marker. To decorate the yogurt container, tape on clothing made from card stock or other materials.
Tips:
- Be sure to check the water level in the yogurt container every day, keeping it at least half full.---cue kids responsibility :)

From Brazil With Love
We've waited 2 long years, but Jonathan David is finally HOME!!! :) Our Aunt Ednelza and Uncle David have their little family under one roof....but most importantly, on USA soil!! We have enjoyed being a part of this adventure! Jonathan is a bright eyed, happy little one who has a new found love for all things Jaela. I cannot wait to continue this adventure in PERSON!!
We went to the airport to meet them armed with a big "Welcome to America Jonathan!" banner, flags and cameras. Jaela, Jonah, Joelle and Jesse Ava made him a blanket, and a recordable story book. All of us recorded a page in English....as he speaks mostly Portuguese and will be learning English now. We are so very thankful to have them home!
Welcome Home Jonathan David!!!!!!

Crafty Calendar
Here's what you'll need:
A frame
Glue
Bakers twine, ribbon or string
Double-sided tape and dry erase markersPretty scrapbook paper
Using the double-sided tape, tape the winning piece of paper down on the frame's mat.
Then, measure and cut enough bakers twine to create the calendar lines.
Tape the string down at the ends.
Depending on your frame size, you can cover the entire mat or just choose to use a portion. I left room for to do lists and grocery lists.
Once dried, I put the frame back together and filled in the appropriate month.
Have fun with it :)
